This was passed along to us, though it is dated it is very revealing. This chart demonstrates that the DPD has been brutal not just over the past decade, but rather decade after decade year after year. The most telling figure is that from 1990-2000 Denver had the 6th highest number of fatal shootings per 100.000 residents. This is some well cited shit too considering it comes from the Washington Post
