On Wednesday, September 19, 2012 Office Rose issued me a traffic ticket for “impeding traffic” on Interstate 25. It happened when I entered the southbound direction of Interstate 25 at the 38th Avenue entrance ramp. For those unfamiliar with this stretch of the interstate, there is a far-right lane that becomes an exit-only lane about 1/2 a mile after the 38th Avenue entrance ramp. This same lane terminates as an exit at 20th Street. I was in this lane after I entered the highway at 38th Avenue when I had attempted multiple times to merge into the lane that was to my left. My attempts were unsuccessful after several motorists to my left would not allow me to enter into this lane. (Due to the morning rush-hour traffic, my intended lane was full with other commuters traveling no more than 10 mph). I therefore continued slowly with my turn signal on until a motorist was kind enough to stop and allow me to merge into the lane that was left of me. At 20th Street I was flagged over by Office Rose who issued me a traffic ticket for “impeding traffic”. The fact is, however, I was NOT impeding traffic. I was simply trying to safely merge into a lane. Office Rose is guilty of unfairly and wrongly issuing false traffic tickets.
Absolutely true. This officer doesnt care what the truth is he is only interested in writing tickets and gaining revenue.
