SOME FUCKED UP STATS

WDCW has been attempting to document the widespread abuses by the Denver Police Department.  Such a task entails more work than we even thought.   Below is a sample of our research thus far.  Now, the list is incomplete.  These are only instances in which a lawsuit has been filed.  As the people know, more often than not police abuses go unreported.  We can assume that instances of police brutality and a lack of reporting can be compared to the high rate of rapes that go unreported.  The correlations are shocking:  fear, trauma, societal negligence are just some possible reasons.

We will continue to post updates on the list, and in time a more complete list will be complied with information regarding each instance.  We invite anyone to assist us.   Again these are just instances of excessive force by Denver law enforcement agencies in the last three years that have resulted in a lawsuit.

Note: (Estate of) means that the person was killed.

  1. When the fuck will we have the IA investigation results on Booker?

    • Actually, DA Morrisey had announced that he will not seek prosecution of the deputies. This totally sucks, but it comes as no surprise. What we need to do is stir the shit storm.
